Principal at EBRD Venture Capital
Zaya is the Principal at EBRD Venture Capital, a €100 million dedicated fund which invests in early stage technology companies in Central and Eastern Europe, Greece, Turkey, the Middle East and North Africa. She is involved in both active sourcing and origination of investments and deal execution, as well as portfolio management. Zaya is especially passionate about working closely with the entrepreneurs and the founders, helping them with strategic decision making as well as hands-on problem solving. She is currently a board member of three portfolio companies, and a mentor with the Techstars Accelerator program in London. Previously, Zaya was a TMT investment banker with Morgan Stanley based in London, where she focused on internet, online classifieds, media and digital media sectors, having worked on a range of deals such as private placements, IPOs, and leveraged buyouts. Zaya holds an MBA from INSEAD.
